First con I spent a whole weekend at! I'm glad we went for two days instead of one; there were too many things to look at in one day, I think.
Saturday, I cosplayed Death the Kid from Soul Eater, with my Liz ~
Epileptic-Trees and !
TheYellowSpaceCadet as my Patty. We lost out Patty for most of the day though, to Tom Felton, so it was just Liz and I for a good while. I got my kitty ears from *
ModernMortalServices, and I love them ever so much! As Sebastian, ModernMortal was lovely enough to take !
TheYellowSpaceCadet's hand, get on one knee and give her a real, legit rose. It died before the day had ended though, which was disappointing. That day I also got a Suzaku and Lelouch cushion, an anti-leaf headband, two Yoshi's (one red and green) of which are given/will be given to two friends. And I honestly can't remember what else I got that day. In my opinion, everything was rather more expensive than it was at Manifest last year. I also had a game of DDR with one of out one-dayer friends that came up with us. And I got many photos of Greg Cipes talking to ~
CheeseAndSaySmile and ~
chuddleycannons. Chuddley was dressed as Four Arms from Ben 10, and oh goodness, did she scare people! It was fantastically hilarious. I also saw the lovely ~
Lets-Uninstall-Mich; I'm so sorry I didn't recognise you for a moment; I hadn't really read my DevArt inbox the days before Supanova!
On Sunday, I was Itachi. First time I've actually done a true attempt of him, and I was paranoid I'd do a shit job. I lost my headband by the morning, so I had to get another one when I got to the con. Turns out the headband had fallen under the bed in our room. The tram was packed when we got on at the 2nd stop; I was invading so much personal space of other individuals; it was terrible, but fun. Once we got to Supanova, the three girls I was with went to line up for photos with Tom Felton, so I wandered around for a while looking for cosplayers I knew. I needed to find *
ModernMortalServices to borrow her Akatsuki cloak. I found ~
KaminariNoRaikiri after passing her multiple times I believe. Luckily she had a sign saying "Property of Itachi" on her, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed her! Her mob of friends were funny and lovely to talk to. Got stuck in a conga line at one stage. Went around with a "Free Hugs" sign with *
SasukeAVENGED and got about 81 hugs all up, in one lap of the building. We got ourselves all bloodied up later on too. Spoke to ~
InnerSakuraShadow after she realised who I was, haha. And spent a good while with an Akatsuki Sakura sitting in my lap. Best fangirl experience ever; she literally jumped into my arms.
The train ride home was a short one -- well it felt as if it were, at least. !
TheYellowSpaceCadet kinda fell asleep on my lap, so I braided one side of her head while she was snoozing.
School holidays have started; I don't go back for another two and a half weeks, so I will be doing school work, work-work and maybe pre-Manifest preparations. I wanna do an ANBU cosplay, SO BAD FFFF.
I was too shy to actually just put it out there and introduce myself. I get like that :I
That's kind of hilarious, that you were with those two. I love their cosplays and their both amazing people!
I'm look forward to pictures, of both Death and Itachi~~
ANBU FTW. Yess. >:I
Hilarious? Alrighty. They are excellent at their cosplays, I agree. They're also wonderful to hang out with.
I'll try and get some up soon!
ANBU. HELLS YEAH.
Oh awesome! We were like the only Soul Eater cosplayers on Supanova Sunday, it was so saddening!
