ChudleyCannons and I went to see the Avatar: The Last Airbender movie, as it only just came out in cinemas in Australia. It took ages, which is silly. Even Germany got it before us! Did they need to translate it to 'Australian' or something?
Well, aside from the pronunciations being off, I didn't mind it. I'm not hugely into the series, but I know enough to get me by. Apparently some roles were shortened, which I did notice a bit. It was spectacular to watch though; the CGI was amazing. But the choregraphy was quite off when it came to multiple benders preforming the same techniques. Disappoint.
Before we went and saw that, we were browsing around in various shops, whilst we awaited on one of our motley crew members. Whilst we were in
Leading Edge Music, we were looking at the anime section. I found the Naruto Shippuden Volume 2. I got all excited and crouched down, but !
TheYellowSpaceCadet stepped in my line of site, causing me to shout her name out, and the line "get your arse out of the way of Itachi!" before proceeding to shove her to the side. The DVD was $50, which was all the money I had, and I
was going to buy it, until my rational side kicked in, and I put it back. I then proceeded to flogging all the free pamphlets and magazines. I walked out with my arms full.
I bought a rubber duck today. 'Cuz I'm cool. At Armageddon, while I'm cosplaying Sasuke, we're gonna make me ballance it, and other stuff on my head. To get the joke, search the words "Stack Sasuke" in your search engine. It's epic!
And I am still adamant that the similarity between Hashirama and Itachi is uncanny:

LAME! They moved waaaaay to much and nothing really happened. And Eeroh is NOT the only one who can make fire outta nothing. ALL fire benders can. But nooo Jar got all "WOW!" and said Sozins comet makes them able to do that. WRONG! It just makes them more powerful. They can fly using fire. But nooo that movie decided to change things, along with names... tsk tsk. But yes I thought it was fairly good.

Teehee. I'm over the whole DVD incident. At the next convention, I get to be handcuffed to my friend, who's cosplaying Itachi; my life is wonderful. I'll be Sasuke though. We're gonna carry signs, like, she'll have "pimp" and yeah.
But sadly, we're just going to get mobbed by fangirls. *sigh* But I think we'll cope.
