How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Listening to: My stomach growl like crazy!

I gotta tell you guys about my birthday!

It was a pretty rad day. I enjoyed myself. ~juimon got me a Premium Membership for my birthday. Go and give her some love! Her art is absolutely beautiful! I also got a new laptop, which is why I've been able to LiveStream my pictures. This thing manages the workload far more easily. But yes, I'm now a legal adult. It's weird. I don't really know what I expected myself to be like once I hit the big 18, when I first joined DeviantArt.

On to something a bit more interesting: Supanova! So it was way back in April that I went to it. I had great fun! !TheYellowSpaceCadet and I went up on the Friday and stayed in our own hotel room together for the weekend. I did my first Homestuck cosplay but on Saturday night, I spilled soup all down the front of my dress!! I was so crushed. I was just going to clean it and wear it the next day, but I woke up Sunday morning with really bad nausea. I'm amazed I managed to drag my sorry carcass around the con for that whole day. I bought a Naruto and a Dalek key chain, a kitty cushion, Halo and Sonic the Hedgehog shirts and I'm sure there's more but I can't remember! But it was a good weekend even though I was crook.

I'm looking forward to Manifest which is in August. I'll be doing another Homestuck cosplay. I think this time I'll go as the Signless. I will only go for one day seeing as it's when our study gets serious. Year 12 ain't too grand. I'm also getting my wisdom teeth removed on the 2nd of July, so that will be... uh... interesting.
